Project Manager - 6 Month FTC

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering complex scope within the Transformation programme across the full development lifecycle.
• Managing and influencing stakeholders across the business at all levels.
• Identify the skills and resources needed for project delivery.
• Managing third parties to deliver to their commitments for our business.
• Be fully compliant with project governance, reporting and tracking.
• Define the scope appropriately, employing techniques for scope traceability.
• Reviewing and monitoring progress against project plans to ensure outputs are delivered to time, budget and quality specifications.
• Engaging with assurance reviews and implementing review recommendations within the project.
• Managing risks, issues and resources to ensure milestone dates are achieved.
• Managing project scope, applying the defined change management processes when required.
• Reporting project progress in line with organisational policies and procedures, including timely responses to information requests.
• Establishing teams in consultation with other parts of the organisation to ensure efficient delivery and responsibility for their operation.
• Communicating regularly with stakeholders and sponsors.
• Setting and managing stakeholder expectations on timelines and ownership of outputs at various phases.
• Coordinating activities and tasks among program teams, internal departments, and client or vendor organizations to meet program goals.

Requirements

• Proven delivery within large scale Change/Transformation programmes.
• Experience of wealth management and pensions industry.
• Understanding of Information Technology systems within a Financial Services platform environment.
• Experience of working with outsourced partners and providers.
• Project planning experience across complex deliveries.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage solutions during difficult situations.
• Experience of Change Delivery within the Financial Services industry.
