About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the security services and related operations provided to an assigned contract, ensuring all contractual operations are met and all posts are staffed with employees possessing required certifications.
• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to client site posts; ensure post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports are filed; notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Prepare and coordinate staffing schedules for the contract or site, ensuring effective scheduling to meet contract requirements while controlling labor costs; input employee time into payroll systems.
• Coach and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from management; meet with employees and document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Train Security Officers, line supervisors, and other personnel; review post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions in conjunction with management or designated representatives.
• Prepare, file, and submit various reports as required.
• Inspect posts regularly and randomly to ensure officers meet uniform and certification guidelines; meet with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, and making hiring and termination recommendations, in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Perform additional duties and tasks as necessary to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

• Experience in managing security services or related operations.
• Ability to supervise security personnel and ensure compliance with post orders and safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills to coordinate staffing and control labor costs.
• Ability to prepare reports and conduct inspections.
• Knowledge of safety practices, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle disciplinary actions and coaching.
