Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth functioning of the Lab's projects, including community-engaged qualitative studies, program evaluations, and outreach activities.
  • Provide detailed project oversight, including timeline tracking, record keeping, and administrative support.
  • Liaise with the IRB, funders, and external partners to ensure compliance and effective communication.
  • Lead meetings and develop public-facing content related to the Lab's research, education, and policy missions.
  • Supervise the Lab's Research Coordinator and consultants.
  • Develop and disseminate newsletters, update website materials, and strategize social media and public engagement efforts.
  • Oversee event management for existing and new Lab events.
  • Maintain detailed project timelines, compile documentation for reporting, and track budgets and receipts.
  • Engage in continuous learning related to research management and communication with diverse team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate-level training in public health, social work, public policy, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Prior experience with research and project management.
  • Experience with communications strategies.
  • Familiarity with institutional review boards, research protocols, and regulatory processes.
  • Interest or familiarity with issues related to housing insecurity and homelessness.
  • Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to Have

  • Demonstrated experience working with populations relevant to this research, including people experiencing homelessness, older adults, and marginalized groups.
  • Experience with community engagement and web design platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Graduate-level training in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and experience.
