Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete assigned projects on time and at or below quotation cost estimate.
• Become familiar with all products and services offered by Rain for Rent and stay updated on new offerings.
• Perform job walks to identify potential hazards, obstacles, and additional opportunities for rental equipment.
• Assist in quotation preparation by providing labor estimates, timelines, equipment lists, and scope of work.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, equipment, supplies, and daily progress logs for each project.
• Inform branch and relevant personnel about project progress and obtain signed change orders for extra work.
• Review quotation and scope of work with local branch and determine asset availability.
• Develop spill containment plans and ensure materials are available on-site.
• Complete Job Safety Hazard Analysis (JSHA) and review safety procedures with all workers.
• Hold daily progress and safety meetings, keep records of discussions, and manage emergency contact lists.
• Assist in preparing customer invoices if needed.

Requirements

• Experience managing projects involving bypass pumping systems, filtration, or high-pressure general service pumping applications.
• Ability to perform job walks and identify hazards and opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills for job costing, tracking, and record-keeping.
• Ability to develop scope of work, safety plans, and manage project timelines.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, team members, and departments.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to conduct safety analyses.
• Experience with preparing estimates, labor, equipment, and resource planning.

Nice to Have

• Experience in underground utilities, trenchless technologies, or related markets.
• Experience participating in trade shows or industry events.
• Knowledge of spill containment and environmental safety measures.

Qualifications

• Previous project management experience in relevant industries.
• Ability to perform job walks and hazard identification.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
