Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and lead projects related to technical services, engineering, site operational initiatives, and compliance and quality initiatives.
• Prepare and manage project plans to meet milestones, facilitate removal of roadblocks, and lead meetings to ensure project completion.
• Deliver projects within the agreed timeline and budget.
• Oversee and manage capital appropriations for projects to ensure proper funding, expenditure, and closure in accordance with the project plan.
• Select effective cross-functional teams.
• Communicate with customers on project status, coordinate with project managers at other sites for seamless transfer, and liaise with suppliers, vendors, or contractors on project requirements and expectations.
• Ensure project requirements comply with current cGMP, EHS, and industry standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Biology, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Pharmacy.
• 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry and with an FDA-regulated CDMO company.
• 2+ years of project management experience or demonstrated successful team leadership and project completion.
• Working knowledge of project management principles and concepts in a cGMP environment.
• PMP certification is strongly preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds; no lifting greater than 40.09 pounds without assistance.
• Specific vision requirements include reading written documents and frequent use of a computer monitor.

• PMP certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience, preferably in pharma or FDA-regulated environments.
• At least 2 years of project management or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of project management principles in a cGMP setting.
