Job Description

About the Role

The Project Manager I is responsible for all aspects of project management from beginning to end under general supervision. The supervisor provides significant direction and reviews material before it is sent out to customers and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people
  • Problem solve while accurately utilizing, maintaining, and tracking project data
  • Communicate regularly with inside/outside sales team to understand and remain up to date on the requirements of each project
  • Perform material take-offs
  • Submittal creation
  • Produce add order quotations
  • Negotiate job buy-out
  • Perform order entry, problem resolution, material management, and project close out
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Prior lighting project management with construction industry knowledge to include experience reading project documents, including drawings, schedules, and submittals
  • Possesses customer service experience
  • Ability to work on strict timeline and meet deadlines
  • A team-first attitude
  • Must have excellent math skills
  • At least four years of Excel experience
  • Must be proficient on Word, Outlook and Blue Beam
