About the Role

This role focuses on managing operational aspects of ongoing projects from initiation through completion and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. It involves overseeing clinical project management duties, assessing project issues, developing resolutions, and monitoring project progress. The position is a professional individual contributor role that may direct lower-level professionals or manage processes and programs, working independently with general supervision to apply practical knowledge and influence others within the job area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads successful implementation of programs and explores ways of continual improvement.
  • Manages projects from inception to completion, creating timelines and work plans for assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases.
  • Tracks progress against the timeline and deliverables.
  • Convenes and manages committees or working groups to develop and sustain new and existing programs, overseeing implementation of action items.
  • Structures and manages the process for building buy-in among key stakeholders.
  • Manages events, meetings, and retreats including scheduling, logistical arrangements, serving as liaison to presenters/invitees, agenda preparation, materials distribution, minutes, follow-up, media, and audio-visual needs.
  • Prepares reports and presentations; collects and organizes data and program information for proposals, reports, presentations, and evaluations.
  • Works with evaluation team to develop program metrics and evaluation plans.
  • Serves as primary liaison to internal participants and external partners.
  • Provides excellent internal and external communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in project or program management.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills to interact with healthcare leadership and support staff.
  • Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate programmatic needs.
  • Excellent writing skills including the ability to draft and present program materials.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and ask for help/input when needed.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to define processes to resolve open questions.
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and tenacious, seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of project management.

Nice to Have

  • Current licenses, certifications, and registrations related to degree.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical field.
