Key Responsibilities

  • Identifies potential business development opportunities in line with the mission of the Virginia C. Crawford Research Institute and the Cox Foundation Innovation Institute
  • Manages and reviews business contracts and agreements and ensures approval from all appropriate stakeholders
  • Develops and manages comprehensive project plans, tracks progress, coordinates activities and collaborates with hospital-wide departments and all stakeholders (internal and external) to meet project deliverables
  • Anticipates risks and delays and formulates actions to address
  • Manages numerous time sensitive projects efficiently, streamlining deliverables and coordinating multiple schedules simultaneously
  • Manages continuous stream of team actions and communication
  • Captures, documents, and takes action to resolve all changes to project scope
  • Tracks project issues and ensures actions are taken
  • Works closely with team leaders, champions and other project participants to ensure project success
  • Supports and participates in organization initiatives as assigned
  • Plans, prepares, and hosts internal and external events focused on organizational initiatives and business development opportunities
  • Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with Center and departmental policies and procedures
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Relevant experience managing projects in healthcare field
  • Healthcare industry knowledge
  • Leadership experience including management of diverse teams
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Working knowledge of both the medical and business side of healthcare operations including research
  • Experience teaching and facilitating conversations with people with disabilities
  • Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex problems proactively with creative problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and moving deadlines simultaneously
  • Attentive to details and able to comprehensively consider the impact of business development opportunities and potential changes to processes or programs

Nice to Have

  • Post graduate degree in PT, OT, SLP or other rehab discipline, with current License in field
  • Experience working in EPIC
  • Experience working in REDCap
  • Experience teaching or lecturing in academic setting
  • An innovative, creative and flexible person

Qualifications

  • Completes orientation and initial assessment of competency successfully by determined due date (Required for all Clinical Positions)
  • Completes mandatory education and annual competency assessment requirements by determined due date (Required for all Clinical Positions)
