This role involves leading complex IT projects within the life insurance domain, supporting value streams, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee technical projects involving life insurance systems, including policy administration, underwriting platforms, and claims processing.
Lead Agile Teams using Kanban or other agile frameworks adapting to fit organizational needs.
Manage project risks, timelines, reporting and budgets using tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Facilitate cross-functional team coordination, including developers, QA, and vendor partners.
Coordinate and manage internal resource capacity to align with project timeline and budget.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates, insights, and risk mitigation plans.
Maintain relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy policies.

Requirements

7-10 years of IT project management experience, preferably in life insurance, annuities, or financial services.
Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum practices, with experience facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with policy administration systems, claims platforms, and digital insurance tools.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to navigate complex business challenges.

Nice to Have

PMP, CAPM, CSM, CSPO, or other related certifications preferred.
