Project Manager (IT): III (Senior)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify project deliverables, develop project scope, manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget while delighting our customers.
• Identify project risks and set timelines to meet customer expectations.
• Influence effectively between the Business Owners, Project Managers (PMs), and Operations Teams to support delivery, risk mitigation, change management, and issue resolutions.
• Effectively manage and lead the successful delivery of projects and requests across various phases of delivery within the project timeline and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules or ADO boards depending on the project methodology (Waterfall or Agile).
• Manage deliverable estimation process, resource allocation, and project budgets.
• Schedule recurring internal and customer-facing meetings during project implementation to review and monitor project goals and status.
• Represent team recommendations to Senior Management, demonstrate influence over governance bodies, and communicate effectively via formal presentations.
• Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders.
• Collect and report value metrics to enable leaders to make decisions to maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs.
• Provide ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management, and issue resolution.
• Lead issue identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution documentation.
• Monitor risk events before they become issues and identify potential roadblocks.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor's degree / 5+ years of experience.
• Experience as a Scrum Master and a Project Manager.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels.
• Ability to understand people and technologies with the ability to ask questions to guide problem-solving without knowing the subject matter.
• Ability to assess and deliver appropriate levels of detail and interact comfortably at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working both independently and in a cross-functional team-oriented environment.
• Must be able to facilitate discussion and present alternatives or different approaches to clients.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Waterfall / Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management
