About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Initiates, defines, and manages multiple very high-profile projects of considerable complexity, at one time.
• Provides oversight to strategic projects, working closely with leadership.
• Sets the strategic direction for assigned areas of responsibility, leveraging project management tools to deliver results.
• Facilitates the design of the Enterprise Project Management standards and methodology.
• Plans and evaluates project activities to accomplish objectives.
• Delivers information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, prepares and completes action plans, and implements standards for production, productivity, quality, and customer service.
• Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends, determines system improvements, and implements change.
• Forecasts requirements, prepares annual budgets, schedules expenditures, analyzes variances, and initiates corrective actions.
• Sets and manages project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
• Generates support and commitment to new ideas and their implementation.
• Ensures assigned projects meet client requirements and communicates project initiatives effectively.
• Works with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to develop sound solutions to business problems.
• Operationalizes strategic plans with timely project/deliverable execution.
• Performs data management and analysis.
• Leads the development and management of operational and capital budgets.
• Provides mentorship and leadership to project management team members.
• Maintains professional communication, ensures accountability, and escalates issues as needed.
• Participates in strategic planning and analyzes future needs, trends, and challenges related to hospital operations.
• Performs other duties as required and fosters a customer-focused environment.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience managing multiple, highly complex, high-profile projects.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute (PMI).
• Exhibit a high degree of customer service, cooperation, teamwork, initiative, and judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve time-based objectives, balance priorities, and communicate effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Logical problem-solving capability.

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree.
