As part of our Managed Applications Services, we provide day-to-day support for applications running in a mission-critical environment on a 24x7 basis. We are looking for an individual to join our team that provides support and development to our Command and Control services, focusing on project management and service management activities.

Key Responsibilities

Inspiring, guiding and coordinating a cross functional team to achieve project goals
Working closely with the client and team to understand business requirements to convert these into projects or service management activities, delivered to time and budget with the appropriate resources
Planning and delivering projects on time, within scope and on budget using a Project Manager's toolbox to achieve this
Working with the lead project manager to align deliverables across the managed service, including stakeholder management
Supporting the team so that they can overcome 'blockers' quickly and efficiently, including escalations as appropriate
Collating information for financial reporting
Working within a close-knit team to maintain high standards of delivery and continue to improve outcomes

Requirements

Solid experience of project management within an Application Support environment
Experience of the full software development lifecycle and how this applies to the delivery of projects and changes to the solution
Experience of Agile methodologies and how these apply in this environment
Certifications such as PRINCE2 and/or AgilePM
Ability to work with a technical team and grasp key concepts needed to deliver within a service delivery environment without impacting operational effectiveness
Good understanding of ITIL framework
Strong interpersonal skills for regular communication with clients
Eligibility for, and ability to obtain and retain, CTC clearance
Residence in the UK for the last three years

Nice to Have

Previous experience within Public Sector organisations

Qualifications

Certifications such as PRINCE2 and/or AgilePM
