Key Responsibilities

  • Establish an execution framework on the project that complies with the contract and ensures safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.
  • Perform all project management responsibilities on medium to large sized, moderate risk engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction/construction management (EPFC/CM) or assigned areas of a mega project.
  • Manage completion of technical and commercial proposals, including project organization, planning, means and methods of project execution, schedule preparation, cost estimating, and commercial strategy when acting as Proposal Manager.
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) are emphasized throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure execution of all project aspects in accordance with contractual obligations, Fluor's Operating System Requirements (OSR), and the Operating System Implementation Plan (OSIP).
  • Ensure full compliance with the prime contract regarding client reporting, notifications, project system start-up, and close-out requirements.
  • Ensure project requirements for Baseline Centric Execution, safety, quality, and productivity are met at all locations managed by Fluor.
  • Establish and communicate the project baseline, update it throughout all project phases, and ensure it is fully documented.
  • Deliver the project in accordance with the project execution and commercial baseline.
  • Participate in Fluor University courses, utilize Knowledge Management processes, and support sales and marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree or equivalent in an applicable field of study and twelve years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling sixteen years if non-degreed.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and efficient manner.

Qualifications

  • Educational background as specified in the requirements (four-year degree or equivalent).
  • Relevant years of experience as outlined in the requirements.
