Key Responsibilities

Leading and coordinating cultural resource technical research and writing technical reports.
Creating and developing proposals including establishing budgets, schedules, and applicable resources.
Developing proposals and identifying necessary resources for successful project completion.
Managing and coordinating archaeological projects including scheduling, managing budgets, leading teams, and liaising with clients on field survey, testing, monitoring, and/or data recovery excavation projects.
Coordinating with state and federal agencies, clients, and Tribal representatives to ensure successful project results.
Building relationships with current and future clients and teaming partners.
Leading and mentoring teams of cultural resources professionals.
Participating in marketing efforts.
Occasionally participating in fieldwork activities.

Requirements

A master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
At least five (5) years of supervisory experience on CRM projects located in the American Southwest.
Must hold an Arizona State Museum Principal Investigator permit or be able to qualify for one.
Must be an expert in local, state, and federal cultural resources laws and regulations.
Experienced in managing fieldwork, analysis, and report production for large cultural resources survey and data recovery projects.
Experienced in writing and reviewing technical archaeological reports.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or a related field.
Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience on CRM projects in the Southwest.
Ability to obtain or hold an Arizona State Museum Principal Investigator permit.
Expertise in local, state, and federal cultural resources laws and regulations.
Experience in managing archaeological fieldwork, analysis, and report production.
