About the Role

The Project Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing transportation and logistics projects for DSV's clients. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project timelines, budgets, and goals are met, while also providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Identify and manage project risks and issues
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Communicate project progress and status to internal teams and external stakeholders
Conduct project evaluations and post-project reviews
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure project success
Coordinate the loading, unloading, and handling of freight shipments
Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and packaging of goods in compliance with regulations
Plan and prioritize freight operations to meet customer demands and deadlines
Follow and own Standard Operating Procedures, while recommending improvements to process as needed
Maintain monthly KPIs and financials as required by the business
Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field
2+ years of experience in project management or logistics
Experience working in a transportation and logistics environment is preferred
Strong project management skills with experience in planning, executing, and evaluating projects
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana)
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to Have

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Experience working with international transportation and logistics projects
Experience in process improvement and implementation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
2+ years of relevant experience
