About the Role

The Project/Program Manager IT 3 will provide project management and coordination for division-wide projects involving multiple service delivery and application support teams. The role includes serving as the spokesperson for critical initiatives and facilitating communication across teams, customers, and stakeholders. This position is based on-site in East Peoria, IL, and involves managing various projects within an IT environment on a 12-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

Create project plans, schedules, and action items.
Follow up on tasks with team members.
Manage project risks and priorities.
Maintain communication with sponsors and stakeholders through formal updates and ad-hoc interactions.
Facilitate communication across teams, customers, and stakeholders.
Participate in daily collaboration via face-to-face, Teams chat, phone calls, and email.
Participate in standups and update sessions.
Work with a core team of 6, potentially expanding to 25-30 people.

Requirements

5-10 years of demonstrated project management experience.
No degree required.
Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Power BI.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal across all organizational levels).
Teamwork, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

Microsoft Project (MSP).
Azure DevOps.
Infrastructure experience (Servers, Storage, Mainframe, Backup, Disaster Recovery).
PMI exposure.
Coaching and motivation skills.
