Key Responsibilities

Media/Influencer Relations: Strong knowledge of all media and influencers relevant to clients' business, proactive media engagement and storyline development, securing coverage according to team goals.
Client Service/Management: Facilitate media briefings, provide feedback to clients, own portions of client PR calls, counsel on media opportunities, present account progress, and manage key elements of the PR program.
Writing: Generate press releases, content, award submissions, fact sheets, biographies, backgrounders, and other materials with minimal edits; ensure professional, timely client communication.
Agency Operations: Mentor junior staff, assist in goal development, participate in new business efforts, attend networking events, maintain professional attitude, support teams, and manage up and down.
Self Development: Set quarterly goals, prioritize responsibilities, drive projects independently, identify areas for self-improvement, and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements

2-3 years of PR experience, possibly at an agency or startup, with solid relationships and social media awareness.
Exceptional writing skills, including generating press releases and content with minimal edits.
Ability to develop creative pitches and manage client communications professionally and timely.
Experience mentoring junior staff and participating in agency operations and new business processes.
Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and drive projects independently.

Nice to Have

Experience in healthcare strategic communications and digital marketing.
Experience with media and influencer engagement specific to healthcare or technology sectors.

Qualifications

Relevant PR experience (2-3 years).
