About the Role

Infosys is seeking a PySpark developer with a strong Data Engineering background. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions, and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will interface with key stakeholders and be involved across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Key Responsibilities

Enable digital transformation for clients through data engineering solutions.
Research technologies independently and recommend appropriate solutions.
Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
Interface with key stakeholders across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, or willing to relocate to the area.
At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 1 year of experience in Hadoop, Spark, Python, and PySpark.
Good experience in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL and Unix shell scripting.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution or three years of progressive experience in the specialty.

Good understanding of data integration, data quality, and data architecture.
Experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Modeling of Unstructured Data.
Good understanding of Agile software development frameworks.
Experience in Banking domain.

Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
