Python, Pyspark and DBT Lead Developer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Enable digital transformation for clients in a global delivery model.
• Research on technologies independently and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards.
• Interface with key stakeholders.
• Apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Irvine, CA / Los Angeles, CA or be willing to relocate to the area.
• This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Python with API and data pipelines development.
• Hands-on experience on DBT development.
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis.

Nice to Have

• Good understanding of data integration, data quality and data architecture.
• Good general knowledge in end-to-end implementation of data warehouse and data marts.
• Experience in Pyspark.
• Understanding of parquet/delta formats.
• ETL experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services and Capital Markets domain.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in teams in a diverse, multi-stakeholder environment comprising of Business and Technology teams.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications
