Quality Assurance Engineer II, Alexa Subscription Growth

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for manual and automated testing of features across various platforms including web, devices, and mobile.
• Own the planning, development, and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques.
• Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
• Interpret and report testing results, advocating for quality in every phase of the development process.
• Work with Software Development Engineers (SDE) to understand the overall technical architecture and feature implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand the customer experience and build mechanisms to improve software quality.
• Lead and be responsible for the quality of key features.

Requirements

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.

Nice to Have

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics.

Qualifications

• Formal experience and skills in quality assurance and testing frameworks.
