The Quality Improvement Data Coordinator provides basic data coordination and data entry services for quality improvement projects supported by the department, supporting quality improvement reporting, database development, and data management standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides basic data coordination and data entry services for quality improvement projects supported by the department.
  • Supports quality improvement reporting for data review, quality control checks, and/or interim and final analysis.
  • Contributes to the development of databases and data management standards and serves as an internal resource on data coordination procedures.
  • Provides administrative and technical support to quality improvement faculty for development of educational tools and training materials for quality improvement project and data management curricula.
  • Provides positive and effective customer service and contributes to teamwork within and between departments, divisions, programs and other organizations.
  • Ensures quality improvement work in the department is performed in conformance with established hospital, program, federal, and state policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have bachelor's degree in health science, math, or related field.
  • Knowledge of basic data management software e.g. SPSS, MS, Excel.
  • Critical attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with clinical metrics, quality reporting, research data, or hospital-specific KPIs (preferred).
  • Data visualization skills, Smartsheet experience, and interest in AI exploration (preferred).

Qualifications
