Quality Performance Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Performance Analytics tools and systems such as Power BI to collaborate with program leaders, administrators, and clinical providers to analyze large data sets, identify trends, ensure accuracy, investigate variances, and discover opportunities for improvement.
• Develop ongoing reports to support organizational initiatives, improve report design efficiency, and document processes to facilitate automation and cross-training.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to provide actionable insights for informed decision-making, issue identification, and monitoring of strategic initiatives.
• Manage a range of projects from small to midsize, and develop larger, more complex projects related to organizational strategic initiatives.
• Develop metrics and report key quality and safety indicators to demonstrate improvements across the organization.
• Monitor standards of practice to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory and accrediting agencies, including CARF, NJ and Federal Codes (e.g., DDD, OSHA), and professional review organizations.
• Independently execute assigned project tasks for approved projects.
• Lead efforts to improve targeted outcomes using methodologies such as Agile, Lean, PDSA, Six Sigma, and others.
• Serve as a resource for department staff and program leaders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with two or more years of experience in data analytics and performance improvement.
• Minimum of one year experience in a nonprofit setting is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze large amounts of data and present findings in a meaningful format.
• Knowledge of performance improvement methodologies such as PDSA and barrier analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Access, PowerPoint, and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with quality improvement processes and approaches.
