About the Role

Fisher Phillips, a renowned international leader in employment and labor law, is seeking a dynamic Regional Marketing & Business Development Specialist to join their team. The role involves shaping and executing initiatives that elevate the firm's brand, engage clients, and expand market presence across multiple offices in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington, D.C. The position reports to the Regional Marketing and Business Development Manager and offers a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values creativity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate business development efforts at the local level, working with practice groups, industry teams, and the firmwide marketing department to deliver high-impact programs and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with local associations and organizations to cultivate relationships that align with the firm's strategic goals and enhance value for clients.
  • Plan, coordinate, and host compelling events, webinars, and content-rich programming to strengthen brand presence and client engagement.
  • Support the development of visually compelling and persuasive presentations that elevate messaging and resonate with audiences.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate innovative marketing and social media campaigns in collaboration with the firmwide marketing team to maximize reach and impact.
  • Partner with attorneys to create, implement, and track personalized marketing plans that drive growth and business development.
  • Meet regularly with Regional Managing Partners to align on business development and marketing priorities, providing insights and progress updates.
  • Develop persuasive client and prospect pitch materials, working closely with the proposal team to deliver standout RFP responses.
  • Conduct thorough client research to identify and pursue new business development opportunities.
  • Lead and coordinate local submissions for rankings such as Chambers, positioning the firm for recognition in the market.
  • Contribute actively to the business development and marketing functions, bringing fresh ideas and collaborative energy.
  • Manage office marketing and business development budgets, process invoices, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5-7 years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services organization.
  • A bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, law, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail, and leadership skills.
  • Adept in marketing technologies, including client relationship management tools, social media strategies, and branding campaigns.
  • Exceptional client service attitude and demeanor.
  • Strong writing capabilities, including persuasive writing.
  • Strong event management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel among assigned offices and to various meetings and conferences.
  • Hybrid work schedule required.
