About the Role

The Reporting & Analytics Director will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing projects, reporting, and analytics to support the company's objectives through effective information management. This role involves leadership in motivating project teams, ensuring accurate and timely deliverables, and collaborating with senior management to establish strategic plans. The position requires in-office presence three days a week in New York, NY, with flexibility and consideration for alternate locations, and emphasizes a hybrid work environment that promotes collaboration and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) to support business unit information needs and strategic initiatives.
Provides leadership in motivating project team members to accomplish reporting and analytics goals and objectives.
Reports project status and progress to business unit senior management.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned functional areas.
Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and supported business units.
Provides input on area budgets.
Establishes relationships with internal and external business users.
Oversees the entire reporting, analysis, and consulting unit or all aspects of a centralized function.
Partners with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and objectives.
Coordinates project management for assigned tasks.
Communicates technical issues to customers in non-technical terms.
Understands the business processes supported by the system.

Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years experience leading project teams, or equivalent education and experience.
Experience working with healthcare data (Snowflake expertise a plus).
Strong programming background (examples: SAS, SQL, Python).
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Ability to develop databases and leverage healthcare analytics.
Self-sufficient in developing analytic approaches and handling end-to-end analytics projects.
Effective communication skills including facilitation, consultation, negotiation, and persuasion.

Nice to Have

Significant knowledge of attribution algorithms and clinical markers used in value-based programs.
10+ years of experience with healthcare data and analytical concepts.
Expertise in developing databases and data visualization for healthcare analytics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team supporting analytics projects.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree
Minimum of 10 years leading project teams or equivalent experience
