We are searching for an innovative Reporting Solution Analyst to join our experienced team in a Telecommuting capacity. The position involves creating, modifying, and analyzing data within regulatory reports, interacting with state health plans, and designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and analyzing reports to deliver business value. Work is generally self-directed and flexible, with the ability to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

Gather, interpret, and analyze business needs and requirements
Create and interpret functional and technical specifications and design documents
Provide analytical support and expertise when compiling and reporting information
Evaluate and present information to facilitate management's understanding of results and impact
Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
Solve moderately complex problems and conduct analyses
Work with minimal guidance, seeking guidance only on the most complex tasks
Translate concepts into practice
Provide explanations and information to others on difficult issues
Provide management with statistical findings and conclusions by analyzing trends and root causes
Understand how various data elements and subject areas are utilized for reporting
Anticipate operational needs and proactively collaborate with business and team members to find solutions

Requirements

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience developing in PL/SQL with Oracle or Snowflake performing moderately complex analyses
3+ years of experience gathering business requirements and analyzing data for moderately complex reporting
3+ years of experience building reports and dashboards using BI technology, such as PowerBI
3+ years of experience with client relations/customer service

Nice to Have

Healthcare industry experience, particularly familiarity with Medicaid & Medicare
Project Management experience
Experience in Talend or PowerBI
Experience with Cloud technology, such as Databricks, ADF
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications

Formal educational background includes an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
