About the Role

Snowflake is seeking motivated people with a passion for technology and the drive to build an incredible career in SaaS sales. The Inbound Sales Development team plays a critical role in the growth of the organization by collaborating with sales and marketing to follow-up with inbound leads and set qualified discovery calls that lead to new business and revenue. Support the team culture by working in the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday), requiring employees to live within commuting distance of the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with relevant prospects who opted into being contacted
  • Research and follow-up with prospects through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by executing timely emails and social campaigns
  • Perform analysis of inbound prospects' business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
  • Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with sales and cross functional teams
  • Work in a fast-pace environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team

Requirements

  • A passion for technology and software sales, sales-focused internships are preferred
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external)
  • A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • The ability to thrive in a company environment of rapid change; reacting to management initiatives; taking the 'customer view'; adopting customer corporate 'perspective'; accepting change to business/personal situations
  • Resourcefulness and results driven operating style

  • Participation in Snowflake's commission plan with total on-target earnings of $65,000 - $78,750
  • Estimated base salary of $45,500 - $55,125
