About the Role

The Salesforce Marketing Cloud QA Engineer will be responsible for testing and validating Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules and automation processes. The role requires strong expertise in API/Web Services testing, automation frameworks, and data validation, supporting the company's technology and consulting services. The position is based in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid work arrangement, and involves working with various tools and platforms including SFMC, MuleSoft, and DevOps tools.

Key Responsibilities

Perform QA testing of Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules such as Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Journey Builder.
Test APIs and automation processes within SFMC, ensuring functionality and performance.
Utilize automation frameworks like MUnit, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman for testing activities.
Validate data using strong SQL skills and ensure data integrity across systems.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSD, and XPath.
Participate in Agile and Waterfall project methodologies to deliver quality solutions.

Requirements

Mandatory Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
9 to 10 years of QA experience with strong expertise in API/Web Services testing and SFMC automation.
Proficiency in automation frameworks such as MUnit, Rest Assured, SOAPUI, and Postman.
Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, XSD, XPath.
Good exposure to DevOps tools including CI/CD, Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins.
Strong working knowledge of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform.
Experience testing SFMC modules like Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Journey Builder.
Familiarity with AMPScript (nice to have).
Strong SQL skills for data validation.
Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with AMPScript.

Qualifications

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist Certification.
