SAP Data Validation Analyst - Finance FICO

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Identify root causes when Power BI reports don't tie to SAP source data
• Track data flow issues through Power BI, HANA, and SAP sales orders/transactions
• Support pricing condition mapping validation and cleanup
• Resolve inventory and costing reconciliation issues
• Bridge technical SAP resources with business reporting needs

Requirements

• Ability to extract/query data from the HANA database (no development work involved)
• Good understanding of SAP FICO modules, including Inventory Balances, Costing, AVR, Sales Orders, Pricing Conditions, Discounts
• End-to-End Data Troubleshooting skills to trace discrepancies from Power BI back to HANA data
• Outstanding communication skills
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
• Proactive in identifying and resolving data discrepancies

Nice to Have

• Power BI knowledge (helpful but not required)
• Accounting background (aids communication but not mandatory)
• Data transformation experience

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP HANA and SAP FICO modules
• Data troubleshooting and validation experience
• Excellent communication skills
