About the Role

Join Penguin Random House as a SAP ECC Developer specializing in ABAP, and be part of a team that designs, develops, and maintains high-quality SAP ABAP solutions within a leading publishing company. This role involves working on SAP ECC 6.0 modules, contributing to innovative technology solutions, and supporting the company's digital transformation efforts. The position is remote-based, primarily aligned with Eastern Timezone, and offers opportunities to impact the publishing industry through technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions including dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and use of function modules, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions aligned with business needs.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP ABAP development issues to ensure system stability and performance.

Requirements

Five years of recent and relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong focus on coding and technical implementation as a software engineer.
Deep understanding of SAP ECC 6.0 and modules such as AR, AP, SD, FI, and MM.
Experience with dialogue programming, SAP Forms/SAP Script, ALV reporting, IDOC processing, and web services.
Ability to work primarily on Eastern Timezone in a remote setting.

Nice to Have

Experience working with SAP ECC in the last 4 to 5 years.
Knowledge of S/4 HANA systems.
Experience in a publishing or media company is a plus.

Qualifications

Formal experience in SAP ABAP development (minimum five years).
