About the Role

The Project Manager will be part of a fast-paced Product Evaluation teams and will apply traditional and agile project management principles to coordinate the execution of testing, simulation, and improvement projects to support the New Product Development teams. The Project Manager's core responsibility is to understand the scope of incoming test requests with regards to personnel requirements, facilities, prototype parts availability, and priority, regularly communicate with Business Unit collaborators while upholding Emerson business initiatives and pushing continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and update project management tools
Coordinate and lead project management and scheduling meetings
Update collaborators on evaluation test or simulation status and risks
Perform scrum master responsibilities for the three evaluation teams
Generate and improve Product Evaluation metrics to accurately measure team performance
Coordinate prototype part logistics and delivery
Communicate and coordinate with customer groups (valve new product, instrument new product, nuclear, global supply chain, materials, research and development, etc.)
Support short- and long-term capacity planning

Requirements

BA or BS degree preferred; four years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Two or more years' project management experience or other relevant experience
Proficiency in Project Management concepts

Nice to Have

Experience with Power BI
Lean Product Development experience
Continuous Improvement experience
CAPM or PMP
