About the Role

The Senior Ads Business Development Manager - Strategic Ad Partnerships at Roku is responsible for leading business development relationships and strategy with the company's largest ecosystem partners, focusing on DSPs. The role involves developing and executing ecosystem demand partner initiatives to drive revenue growth and scale Roku's programmatic advertising business. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead relationships, partner management, and growth with the company's largest programmatic partners, focusing on DSPs.
  • Own platform partner revenue number and manage both day-to-day and executive relationships across business development, partnerships, client services, and product teams.
  • Partner with Roku's direct sales team to execute internally sold campaigns through DSP partners.
  • Develop, prioritize, and execute marketplace and partner growth initiatives.
  • Co-develop and execute quarterly partner action plans aligned for mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with product and operations teams to deliver and scale partner plans.
  • Negotiate agreements and amendments in collaboration with Roku's legal, sales, and product teams.
  • Manage assigned business development initiatives from end-to-end.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of Roku's offerings to partners.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of programmatic experience at a media company, SSP, or DSP.
  • 8+ years of CTV experience in business development, partnerships, operations, or product.
  • 8+ years of experience in ad technology contract negotiations.
  • Extensive knowledge of the publisher programmatic ecosystem and technologies.
  • Possession of an 'ownership' mentality.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking and tangible execution.
  • Comfort working with senior leadership and executives.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience executing technical product plans.
  • Analytical, proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
