Senior Analyst, Advanced Analytics

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Build statistical models and analyses to provide insights into media planning and buying for clients.
• Constantly seek ways to improve Horizon's existing data and analytics infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance current analytic processes and develop new capabilities that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
• Use automation and technology to increase efficiency and support scalability.
• Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, analytics teams, data teams, and brand and activation teams.
• Act as a liaison between clients, analytics team, data team, and internal brand and activation teams.
• Manage extensive interactions with brand teams and clients on a day-to-day basis.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree required, with 1-2 years of industry experience; Master's degree preferred.
• Exposure to large data sets ('big data') and analysis.
• Experience in the Advanced Analytics field, especially in media or marketing.
• Advanced statistical modeling experience (e.g., regression, predictive modeling, inferential statistics).
• Strong data manipulation and visualization skills (Excel, SQL), with Tableau or Power BI preferred.
• Specific marketing response modeling expertise such as MMM or MTA.
• Hands-on programming/scripting experience with R or Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience with large data sets ('big data') and analysis.
• Experience in advanced analytics, especially in media or marketing fields.
• Proficiency with data manipulation and visualization tools such as Excel and SQL.
