Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams of analysts, report developers, data engineers to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Support development and implementation of comprehensive analytics strategies aligned with the company's distribution goals and objectives.
  • Advise on strategic direction for sales funnel performance analysis, identifying growth opportunities and eliminating inefficiencies.
  • Support development of in-depth analyses and strategic insights to guide AAA Life Distribution Leaders, Executive Management, Board of Directors, and AAA federation partners in key decision-making.
  • Craft compelling data-driven presentations that highlight trends, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations for distribution leadership.
  • Support executive discussions with robust analytics that diagnose inefficiencies and uncover business opportunities.
  • Examine customer journeys across various sales channels to pinpoint bottlenecks, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for enhancement.
  • Design and implement data-driven strategies to improve customer engagement and boost conversion rates.
  • Continuously track and assess the performance of sales funnel initiatives, recommending improvements based on analysis and outcomes.
  • Ensure data consistency and reliability to support accurate analysis and actionable insights.
  • Detect patterns and trends that reveal strengths, challenges, or opportunities within the sales process.
  • Create detailed reports and presentations that effectively communicate the status and performance of sales funnels.
  • Develop and present regular analysis to the Distribution Team, highlighting KPIs, emerging trends, and strategic recommendations.
  • Use data visualization tools to deliver insights that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and operational adjustments.
  • Partner with channel managers to implement initiatives that improve customer interaction and conversion rates.
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align sales funnel strategies with broader business objectives, leveraging analytics to support these goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data science, Actuarial Science, Analytics, Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 3-7 years of data analytics, actuarial or related experience in the insurance industry, with a solid understanding of the sales funnel, distribution, products etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in data interpretation, trend analysis, and identifying actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintain high standards of data integrity and consistency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in multi-channel sales environments, including field and telephone sales.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales funnel tracking tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • A background in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product teams.
