Senior Analyst, SEO

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day SEO tactical execution across multiple clients
• Work in conjunction with predefined SEO campaign objectives
• Provide regular client reports and client deliverables
• Perform client work outlined in coordination with other media teams
• Support the implementation and delivery of SEO strategy to existing and new clients
• Support technical consultation, implementation, and client deliverables (70%)
• Assist with reporting (15%)
• Engage in evangelism and education about SEO (10%)
• Assist with new business efforts (5%)

Requirements

• 1.5-3 years of work experience in an SEO-heavy environment and/or specifically with SEO
• In-depth knowledge of all aspects of SEO
• Proficiency with Google Analytics and Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with industry tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, SEMRush, Brightedge, Conductor, or similar
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver across multiple clients
• Understanding of key search engine ranking factors
• Ability to conduct relevant keyword research and make recommendations
• Knowledge of on-site optimization techniques
• Proven ability to deliver within strategic SEO campaign requirements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organizational skills
• Flexible and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter, proactive, capable of problem solving and developing creative solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, account teams, developers, and technical staff

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with HTML, PHP, Javascript, and CSS
• Experience with local listings management (LLM) and local SEO
• Brightedge Certification
• Google Analytics Certification

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience of 1.5-3 years in SEO or related environment
• Certifications such as Brightedge and Google Analytics are a plus
