About the Role

The Senior Associate, Digital and Programmatic is a temporary role supporting media campaign execution across clients within the dentsu portfolio, including Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect. The role involves supporting managers with campaign setup, optimization, reporting, and client communication, with on-the-job training in industry landscape, technologies, and campaign management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver media programs that exceed client objectives leveraging technology & human-powered AI
  • Refine understanding of the digital media ecosystem and media optimization strategies
  • Support Manager/Sr Manager with client deliverables including research, campaign setup, QA, optimization recommendations, reporting, billing reconciliation, and internal communication
  • Complete QA of all platforms supporting a campaign launch (ad server, DSP, verification partner, etc.)
  • Develop expert understanding of trafficking processes and their implications on reporting and campaign setup
  • Coordinate hand-offs between media team and ad operations team during trafficking
  • Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with agency team counterparts (planning/activation/ad ops/analytics)
  • Troubleshoot basic campaign delivery and performance issues independently
  • Manage pace reporting across campaigns and provide optimization suggestions to ensure full delivery
  • Become an expert in the programmatic and digital display ecosystem, understanding SSPs, DSPs, data partners, etc.
  • Interpret media data, provide actionable insights and recommendations to line management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years' experience within the digital and programmatic industry
  • Experience with programmatic technology platforms and omnichannel DSPs such as DV360, TTD, Xandr, Yahoo
  • Knowledge of industry ad technology platforms like ad servers (e.g., CM360), ad verification platforms (e.g., DoubleVerify, IAS), and planning/financial platforms
  • Strong knowledge of media math formulas and concepts
  • Knowledge of basic financial principles such as revenue and profit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaboration mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Proactive work ethic and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Solutions-oriented with strong critical thinking, analytical, and mathematical skills
  • Comfortable with analysis and data, experience with MS Office Suite

Nice to Have

  • Experience across programmatic technology platforms and omnichannel DSPs
  • Knowledge of additional industry ad technology platforms

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in digital and programmatic media preferred

  • Hourly pay range of $33.10 - $54.11 based on experience and skills
