About the Role

The company is seeking a multifaceted and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead initiatives within the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), focusing on identifying and developing opportunities in Data Center Artificial Intelligence acceleration designs in North America. The role involves engaging with AI hardware companies, understanding their needs, and promoting Micron's industry-leading memory products such as HBM, LPDDR, GDDR, DDR, and others.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Existing Engagements: Partner with Sales to supervise and champion relationships with current customers, ensuring ongoing collaboration and mutual growth.
Market Analysis: Conduct and maintain detailed market analysis to identify trends, new key customers, and partnerships within target markets, collaborating with Micron Ventures to uncover emerging opportunities.
Customer Development: Engage with selected customers to secure design wins, cultivate strategic relationships with key decision-makers, and drive preference and adoption of Micron's memory solutions.
Industry Influence: Engage with industry and customer decision-makers to influence and promote the adoption of Micron's memory solutions.
Capture Requirements: Gather and detail technical and business requirements from potential and existing customers to align Micron's offerings with market and customer needs.
Facilitate Collaboration: Work closely with internal partners to drive strategic alignment and business direction.
Supervise Market Dynamics: Analyze, report, and educate on trends within the Data Center AI hardware marketplace to support strategic decisions.
Strategic Exploration: Lead and participate in initiatives exploring new business models and opportunities for memory solutions in the AI data center space.

Requirements

Minimum 10+ years of related experience in business development management or similar roles.
MBA or advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field is a plus.
Strong background in semiconductors, AI hardware/software ecosystems, or related technology industries.
Experience with ASIC design and foundry is a plus.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional strategy projects and engage with executive-level stakeholders.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Experience with customer-facing roles.

Educational background with an MBA or advanced degree in engineering, business, or related fields is a plus.
