About the Role

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Senior Business Development Representative to join our team in San Antonio, TX or Warner Robins, GA. The role involves leading key capture efforts, shaping strategy, and supporting new business development within defense and government services, particularly focusing on mobility and training aircraft services on the C-17 platform. The position offers an opportunity to influence strategy and drive business outcomes in a dynamic market, requiring close collaboration with various internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Capture Team Lead (CTL) for select, high-priority campaigns, driving the sales process, managing stakeholder alignment, and ensuring successful capture execution.
  • Lead the development and execution of capture strategies for large, complex defense programs, including competitive analysis, win themes, and value propositions.
  • Collect and analyze relevant information from internal and external sources to support strategy development and alignment across the Boeing enterprise.
  • Direct cross-functional teams through the full capture lifecycle, from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with defense customers, prime contractors, and other key stakeholders to shape acquisition strategies and influence requirements.
  • Prepare and present opportunity status, capture plans, and investment justifications to executive leadership during gate reviews and decision briefings.
  • Analyze competitive landscape, assess risk factors, and develop mitigation strategies and differentiators to enhance win probability.
  • Develop and manage capture budgets, track expenditures, and ensure proper resource allocation throughout the capture process.
  • Develop communication plans and strategies to effectively convey information to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 16+ years' proven experience in defense, aerospace, or government services, Business Development, Capture Management, Strategy, or Program Management.
  • Proven experience working on major weapon systems acquisitions and/or Product Support/Sustainment Programs.
  • Proven experience performing strategy-related work such as market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions.
  • Proven experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
  • Proven experience working with multiple internal or external stakeholders (e.g., business partner, customer, Finance) in planning and executing projects.
  • Ability to travel approximately 40% to support business and team requirements.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior executives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with USAF Air Mobility Command, Acquisition, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers.
  • 5+ years' experience performing strategy-related work such as market or competitive research and analysis, strategy development, and facilitating strategic decisions.
  • Experience as a strategic business partner supporting a leadership team.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining strong relationships with defense customers and other key stakeholders to understand defense requirements, budgets, and planning for effective shaping of acquisition strategies and influencing requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
