The Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager role involves developing content to sharpen Snowflake's differentiation and competitive positioning, collaborating with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams, and owning competitive positioning for key competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synthesize technical information to build concrete, simple-to-understand content and deploy value propositions to accelerate sales wins.
  • Work with GTM teams to build effective competitive sales strategies and develop assets, including product demonstrations, collateral, and tools.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as win/loss analysis and quarterly business reviews.
  • Engage directly with customers, analysts, sales, product, engineering, Field CTO, and other teams at Snowflake to understand and synthesize competitive advantages and disadvantages.
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams to create compete-specific programs.
  • Support compete-specific sales enablement programs and ensure sales echo consistent compete messaging.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a competitive intelligence practitioner.
  • Consideration may be given to those with extremely relevant product marketing, product management, and/or technical sales experience.
  • Prior experience in the world of data analytics.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to understand and synthesize technical information.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work successfully across functions.
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Extremely relevant product marketing, product management, and/or technical sales experience.
