About the Role

We’re building a world-class Marketing team at Zocdoc - and we’re growing fast! As our Senior Content Marketing Manager, you will lead the creation, implementation, and optimization of a comprehensive content strategy. This strategy will attract, nurture, and convert our diverse healthcare audiences throughout the entire demand generation funnel and customer lifecycle. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, you’ll drive pipeline growth and customer engagement, while elevating our brand voice and establishing Zocdoc as a market leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building a comprehensive content strategy tailored to our target segments and funnel stages - using various content types, formats, and channels.
  • Developing high-quality conversion-focused content that delivers measurable impact on demand generation objectives (MQL/SQL) and drives both new provider acquisition and existing customer expansion and retention.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, Data, Creative) to define and refine content themes that highlight Zocdoc's POV, reinforce our value propositions, and integrate customer or third-party proof points.
  • Repurposing long-form content into quick-bite formats for social media (LinkedIn), newsletters, lifecycle campaigns, and more to expand reach.
  • Measuring performance across engagement, conversion, pipeline influence, and retention to inform optimization.
  • Developing, or in some cases directing, on-brand, high-quality content that can be consumed in various ways (blogs, whitepapers, webinars, reports, infographics, videos, and more).
  • Iterating continually by analyzing content performance data, testing new approaches, and re-engaging audiences with refreshed ideas.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally in a demand generation environment.
  • Healthcare familiarity - you understand industry segments, trends, and compliance considerations (a plus).
  • Proven copywriting and editorial skills with a track record of producing content that converts.
  • Knowledge of SEO, paid acquisition, lead nurturing, and lifecycle marketing tactics that enhance content's discoverability and performance.
  • Strong analytical mindset - you can interpret performance metrics, funnel data, and audience insights to drive data-driven optimizations.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), project management, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
