The Senior Content Producer / Writer role is focused on producing content that meets Adyen's business goals, in line with marketing and brand objectives. This position is based in San Francisco and involves working on a range of content projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring other writers.

Key Responsibilities

Write and edit copy for a variety of formats (e.g., blogs, reports, events, ad copy, social copy, landing pages, scripts).
Be on-the-ground for case studies and shoots that involve content creation.
Align content initiatives with commercial goals and the larger content strategy.
Respond to briefs with a strong understanding of business, marketing, and brand goals.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders and design partners from kickoff to delivery, ensuring attention to detail and deadlines.
Research and curate background information, data, and audience insights, including interviews with stakeholders.
Manage content tasks and projects from concept through execution to distribution.
Set an example for applying clear goals and analyzing content impact using insights and digital marketing best practices.
Create and update writing templates and guidelines for use across studios, implementing more efficient workflows.
Mentor writers across studios to ensure high-quality writing.

Requirements

10+ years of professional writing experience.
Proven success in concepting and executing content marketing initiatives for commercial outcomes.
Strong storytelling skills with curiosity about audience motivations and behaviors.
Data-driven approach with ability to refine and optimize based on results.
Impeccable attention to detail and a journalistic attitude to uncover meaningful stories.
Understanding of digital channel writing, user experience, and content marketing strategies.
Ability to self-start, meet deadlines, and drive projects while being receptive to feedback.
Ability to build strong global relationships across teams and time zones.
Full professional proficiency in US English (written and verbal).

Nice to Have

Experience with content strategy and building content initiatives that drive business impact.
Experience in managing or mentoring other writers.
Familiarity with SEO best practices.
