About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter who wants to join one of the most ambitious, hard-working brand teams out there. We’re truly obsessed with serving Healthcare Professionals (aka Awesome Humans), and the right candidate will be, too. This role involves writing and editing copy for a variety of assets on a global scale, including scripts, ads, emails, OOH, and product descriptions. The position reports directly to the Narrative Director and requires a culture-obsessed, detail-oriented writer with strong opinions about language and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own copy development and execution for high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring narrative consistency across ecomm, catalog, retail, and experiential channels.
  • Partner with Narrative and Creative Directors and pitch breakthrough creative concepts, shaping the voice and storytelling approach for seasonal brand moments, product launches, and innovation platforms.
  • Evolve the FIGS tone of voice across all regions and platforms, ensuring cultural nuance, linguistic precision, and global relevance while maintaining a bold, consistent brand identity.
  • Write clear, compelling product descriptions, PDPs, and catalog copy that educate and inspire.
  • Develop strategically informed scripts, headlines, lifecycle journeys, and digital ads that meet or exceed creative and business expectations.
  • Act as a senior creative partner to design, production, and marketing leads, collaborating across disciplines to deliver polished, insight-driven work under tight timelines.
  • Interpret and incorporate consumer insights, behavioral data, and testing results into copy that drives engagement, conversion, and brand loyalty.
  • Push the standard of creative work and collaborate with peers to produce best-in-class content that earns attention and drives results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
  • 7+ years of copywriting experience in a fast-paced, high-performing brand or creative agency environment, ideally in fashion, wellness, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, conversion-driving copy across digital, catalog, product, and campaign touchpoints, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience writing for a global brand, including regional nuance, localization strategies, and cross-cultural adaptation.
  • Demonstrated success in developing brand voice and narrative systems and applying them consistently across platforms.
  • Deep understanding of content performance, consumer behavior, and how to incorporate insights into creative work without sacrificing storytelling.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and working in a highly cross-functional environment.
  • Fluent in internet and social culture, curious, and trend-aware.

Qualifications
