And we do it all with heart, each and every day. We're looking for a highly creative copywriter to join Heart Haus (the internal agency within CVS Health). The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate content and marketing creative writer to lend their expertise to our Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness, Enterprise, and Health Care Benefits business units. They will have the ability to craft highly engaging brand stories from sometimes complicated, text-heavy content. The right candidate will embrace our brand voice and elevate the impact of B2B and B2C content, including highly visible and strategic marketing presentations and campaigns. Experience within PowerPoint as it relates to presentation design is a highly valued plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate complex topics to create clear, concise, and impactful content that resonates with intended audiences.
  • Effectively help manage relationships with marketing partners and stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives.
  • Write creative and effective copy according to project specifications and creative brief from start-to-finish, in plain language standards, and follow brand and voice guidelines.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness, Enterprise and Health Services marketing portfolio, including in-depth knowledge of products and services, competitive landscape, industry, audience and overall business environment and objectives.
  • Successfully deliver on a range of deliverables, including but not limited to B2B and B2C presentations, B2C campaigns and enterprise/executive event materials.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with teams across Heart Haus, the Marketing organization and other Stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful execution of all writing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
  • Exhibit outstanding writing judgment to achieve the highest possible standards for all materials, regardless of medium.
  • Ensure compliance with all branding guidelines, compliance and legal requirements.
  • Able to comfortably work in PowerPoint.

Requirements

  • Portfolio links and/or writing samples must be included with resume for consideration. Also include examples of presentations that you've had a hand in the design.
  • 5-7+ years of creative writing experience for big brands within an external agency or in-house creative/agency team.
  • B2C and B2B writing experience.
  • Experience infusing storytelling into presentation design.
  • Ability to see the big picture and make smart recommendations.
  • Top-notch creative writing skills, including proper punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Must be a strong strategic thinker with the ability to understand a marketing brief and translate that input into ideas.
  • Proficiency with AP or Chicago Manual of Style.
  • Experience writing in traditional and emerging channels.
  • Experience adapting style of copy to various audiences, purposes, or media.
  • Knowledge of compliance and legal requirements (disclaimers) surrounding copy.
  • Willingness to embrace and incorporate AI tools into your workflow.
  • Team player with enthusiasm and positive attitude.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to sell creative ideas.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

Nice to Have

  • Retail and Health Care experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of working for a large, complex client organization and/or creative marketing agencies or organizations.
  • Experience with MRM tools (i.e. Workfront).

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Communications, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
