About the Role

As a Senior Data Analyst at AMP, you'll be joining a growing data insights team within an industry-leading technology company that provides innovative solutions to car wash operators. The role involves building reporting and analytics tools, assisting the data science team with AI/ML model-building and data transformation, and contributing to the company's mission of delivering cutting-edge software solutions and customer data insights.

Key Responsibilities

Write clean, well-structured SQL to transform and organize data
Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards built in a BI tool such as Sigma
Troubleshoot data issues and ensure accuracy of reporting
Answer technical data questions raised by internal or external stakeholders
Train and mentor junior data analysts
Act as a subject matter expert and go-to resource for complex business problems, guiding less experienced team members in problem-solving and decision-making

Requirements

Expertise with SQL in a business setting
Experience with BI tools like Sigma, Power BI, or Tableau
Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes
Experience presenting data insights through dashboards or visualizations
Excellent logic and problem-solving ability
Eagerness to learn and take ownership
Detail-oriented and persistent
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses
Experience working with DBT
Experience with data analysis or statistical tools (Python, R, etc.)
