About the Role

The Senior Data Analyst will deliver and manage dashboards, reports, and perform all data library and governance duties. The role requires mastery of Meditech Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA) module, which draws from Meditech's Data Repository (DR) application. The candidate will work within a healthcare provider setting, specifically at Franciscan Children's Hospital, supporting the 32 Expance platform modules. The position involves creating insights across clinical and financial data, ensuring data governance, and collaborating with various organizational levels as part of the Information Technology leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and manage dashboards and reports to support healthcare analytics needs.
Perform data library and governance duties to ensure data quality and compliance.
Master Meditech Business and Clinical Analytics (BCA) module and utilize it effectively.
Expand BCA scope by integrating outside data pools to enhance analytics capabilities.
Create insights spanning multiple healthcare modules including Patient Access, Clinicals, Revenue Cycle, and Financial Management.
Collaborate with healthcare staff, managers, and leaders to support data-driven decision making.
Ensure high-quality output in data analysis, dashboarding, and reporting.
Serve as part of the enterprise data governance methodology and support IT leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Finance, Actuary Marketing, or related field from an accredited institution.
At least five (5) years of experience working with healthcare clinical and financial data.
Strong understanding of data structure and governance.
Experience working with healthcare staff, managers, and leaders.
Excellent knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with data analytic/statistical tools such as SQL and Power BI.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to adhere to ethical practices and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational skills with prioritization and time management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines and evolving requirements.
Demonstrates initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness.

Nice to Have

Experience with Meditech Expanse modules including Patient Access, Clinicals, Revenue Cycle, and Financial Management.
Experience working in a healthcare provider setting.

Qualifications
