Key Responsibilities

Design data solutions in the cloud or on premises, using the latest data services, products, technology, and industry best practices
Assess and understand data sources, data models and schemas, and data workflows as part of Data Architecture contributions
Assess, understand, and design ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows
Assess, understand, and design reports, create dynamic dashboards, and set up data pipelines in support of dashboards and reports
Design machine learning, AI applications, and MLOps pipelines with a Data Science focus
Address technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and general feature/functionality of data products
Craft data lake house solutions in GCP, including relational & vector databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data systems
Utilize PySpark API processing with resilient distributed datasets (RDDs) and data frames

Requirements

Design data solutions in the cloud or on premises, using the latest data services, products, technology, and industry best practices
Experience migrating legacy data environments with a focus on performance and reliability
Experience in assessing, understanding, and designing ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows
Experience with BI and Data Visualization, including designing reports, dashboards, and supporting data pipelines
Experience in designing machine learning, AI applications, and MLOps pipelines
Ability to address technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and data products
Experience in crafting data lake house solutions in GCP, including relational & vector databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data systems
Must have PySpark API processing knowledge utilizing resilient distributed datasets (RDDs) and data frames

Nice to Have

Ability to write bash, python, and groovy scripts to help configure and administer tools
Experience installing applications on VMs, monitoring performance, and tailing logs on Unix
PostgreSQL Database administration skills
Python experience and experience developing REST APIs

Qualifications

10+ years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Masters in Data Science (preferred)
