About the Role

Fuel the future of data engineering and analytics for our growing North American company! As a Senior Data Engineer at Uline, you'll play a pivotal role in constructing and maintaining our new, cutting-edge data collection systems and analytics platform. Better together! This position is on-site in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL based on need, and we are looking for people who share our passion.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business users to design and build BI and data warehouse solutions.
Engage with project leads, analysts and business users to implement and test data warehouse applications.
Build complex data engineering processes to support business analytics and reporting.
Perform unit, performance and regression testing on ETL mappings.
Follow coding standards, review code and enhance quality practices.
Oversee production deployments and coordinate with other teams to execute.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
8+ years in data engineering.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing ETL using Informatica PowerCenter.
Proven experience writing complex T-SQL and DB performance tuning.
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve data issues.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of SSIS, Python, Azure, Snowflake or Databricks is a plus.
