Key Responsibilities

Design data solutions in the cloud or on premises, using the latest data services, products, technology, and industry best practices
Migrate legacy data environments with a focus on performance and reliability
Assess and understand data sources, data models and schemas, and data workflows as part of Data Architecture contributions
Assess, understand, and design ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows
Design reports, create dynamic dashboards, and set up data pipelines in support of BI and Data Visualization
Design machine learning, AI applications, and MLOps pipelines for Data Science projects
Address technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and feature/functionality of data products
Craft data lake house solutions in GCP, including relational & vector databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data systems
Utilize PySpark API processing with resilient distributed datasets (RDDS) and data frames

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience
Designing data solutions in cloud or on-premises environments
Experience migrating legacy data environments focusing on performance and reliability
Understanding data sources, models, schemas, and workflows
Assessing and designing ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows
Experience with BI and Data Visualization, including reports and dashboards
Designing machine learning, AI, and MLOps pipelines
Knowledge of addressing technical inquiries related to data products
Experience with data lake house solutions in GCP, relational & vector databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data systems
PySpark API processing knowledge with RDDS and data frames
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

Ability to write bash, python, and groovy scripts for configuration and administration
Experience installing applications on VMs, monitoring performance, and tailing logs on Unix
PostgreSQL Database administration skills
Experience developing REST APIs with Python

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
Masters in Data Science (Preferred)
