Senior Digital Strategist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Engagement Strategy to bring structure and technical vision to digital campaigns.
• Foster strong relationships with the development team, guiding technical requirements.
• Help guide the measurement, analysis, and optimization of live programs.
• Evaluate websites, mobile apps, search, social media, email/direct mail, banner advertising, and video.
• Create and maintain technical platform architecture diagrams, site maps, and functional/technical requirement documentation.
• Develop and manage databases with support from the development team, maintaining data integrity and fidelity.
• Support campaign projections and provide data metrics to inform strategy.
• Structure Test and Control studies when applicable.
• Create structured queries to support reporting and ad-hoc needs.
• Monitor performance of queries and optimize where needed.
• Manage data transfer into and out of the database.
• Monitor connectivity between systems to ensure proper execution and syncs.
• Manage analytics accounts to ensure proper segmentation, attributions, and custom reports are created and up-to-date.
• Work closely with the development team to implement and QA website and campaign tracking codes.
• Establish benchmarks and analyze reporting data to monitor KPIs and program performance.
• Produce campaign reports, including dashboards and PowerPoint summaries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of digital marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of technical building blocks involved in digital projects.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to team members.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams leveraging audience targets, analytics data, digital trends, user behaviors, and asset evaluations.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical platform architecture diagrams, site maps, and requirement documentation.
• Experience developing and managing databases, maintaining data integrity.
• Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, and reporting tools such as AdWords, DoubleClick, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Experience with GA, Google Data Studio/Tableau, Excel, and Google Tag Manager.
• Understanding of IBM Watson and Brandwatch.
• Ability to create campaign projections and support data metrics.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
