Senior Director Applied Analytics - Synergie Medication Collective

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute department-specific reporting and work with users and project teams to define new capability and report requirements
• Verify the integrity of data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to lead the development of new analysis and reporting, business requirements for pharmacy claims, rebates, and network transactions
• Report benchmarks for vendors and participants related to drug claims, rebates, and network transactions
• Consolidate large data sets from various sources to support business analysis, identify enhancements or solutions, and prioritize ad-hoc data and project requests
• Support client consultation by providing data, conducting analysis, and developing client-facing presentation materials
• Provide subject matter expertise to Analytics team and business partners on analytic projects, ensuring scope, timelines, deliverables, and results are met
• Work directly with clients and internal partners to provide consultation, analytic insight, and strategy, as well as produce data, models, and analytics
• Leverage statistical and data analysis methods to identify quality issues and potential solutions or process improvements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
• 10 years of data management, data analysis, and/or report development experience with at least 3 years working with benefit plan data, metadata, or conducting data quality monitoring
• 5 years of experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
• 5 years of experience using SAS, SPSS, SQL, SXC or other data analysis tools
• Previous experience working with large data sets and analytic tools
• Intermediate troubleshooting skills and ability to problem solve through complex situations
• Ability to effectively present complex information to diverse audiences
• Ability to establish rapport and influence at all organizational levels
• Enhanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creating formulas and efficient data manipulation
• Ability to articulate industry trends and their impact on client financials

Nice to Have

• PBM or healthcare experience
• Prior experience with statistical modeling and/or predictive modeling
• Experience working with an enterprise-level data warehouse
• Project implementation experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant fields
