About the Role

The Trade Desk is changing the way global brands and their agencies advertise to audiences around the world. With a media-buying platform that helps brands deliver a more insightful and relevant ad experience for consumers, the company sets a new standard for global reach, objectivity, and transparency. The Senior Director of Marketing NAMER will oversee all marketing go-to-market efforts across the US, including brand, digital, and performance marketing, and will be a key leader in driving growth and strategic initiatives in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive NAMER go-to-market strategy
  • Be a true business partner to the NAMER commercial leadership team, working closely to set vision for growth, innovate brand building initiatives, and accelerate growth
  • Set vision for growth and partner with senior commercial leaders to hone strategy and prove results
  • Establish KPIs for the NAMER region; track and report on metrics; collaborate with cross-functional marketing leaders to optimize plans
  • Support the execution of performance marketing programs and develop the media investment strategy, budget management, and KPI tracking
  • Partner with analytics, MOPs, and digital teams to improve marketing attribution, pipeline hygiene, and lead routing from marketing to sales
  • Develop a strong point of view on messaging and storytelling to effectively engage clients across channels such as events, paid media, email nurture, and demand generation
  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing leaders to build consensus, inspire the team, and balance global/local marketing efforts

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 12-15 years of marketing experience at a brand advertiser, agency, media company, or in product marketing, performance marketing, or demand generation
  • Understanding of the programmatic advertising industry and AdTech ecosystem
  • Experience working with and presenting to sales teams
  • Strong storytelling skills and a performance-driven mindset
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build relationships across large teams
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated campaigns across multiple channels
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, analytics, event production, and PR/communications
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, self-organizing, and skilled in time management
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Experience managing a team of 5-10 people
  • Proficiency with marketing tools/systems such as Slack, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Salesforce, Marketo, Asana, Bizible, Excel, Tableau

  • Educational background with a BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
